On the team's overall game performance:
"Obviously it is very disappointing to lose the game, and lose at home. At this point in the season we need to be picking up points, not losing them. If you look at the game as a whole, we should have scored more than once in the first half, and that has come back to hurt us. It gives Houston a boost to come in and tie like they did."

"This one hurts, it is really hard to take. We played so well in the beginning, but we needed to finish it off. You let a team like [Houston] hang around like that and it is just going to come back and hurt you in the end."

"We figure it is going to take five wins out of our last seven games to make the playoffs. We are still in contention. If we would have won today we would have been tied for third, so it is disappointing because we haven't really been able to get ahead. It is frustrating."

"We were a bit impatient with our play, but defensively we were good. They were pressuring the ball, but it is hard for us to play when the opposing team is getting good chances. It was determination that got us three points tonight."

On Houston holding on to the win with 10 men:
"I think we played very well. We stayed in there even though the [Galaxy] got some good opportunities. I think Adrian [Serioux] and Ryan [Cochrane] did a great job of winning headers, and Ricardo [Clark] made it difficult for Landon [Donovan] to get the ball. I think once we stopped Landon [Donovan] from turning around and shooting the ball everything just played into our hands. So, I think the last little bit the guys did a great job."

"It was huge, especially since we won. According to the results in our conference, this is a huge win. This just really shows the character of our team, losing an Open Cup semifinals match and then coming back with a win. It shows the guys in this team have a lot of heart."
