Dunga names 22-man squad for qualifier

RIO DE JANEIRO - Brazil coach Dunga has named a 22-man squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Ecuador.

There were no surprises in the selection, which was mostly made up of the players who took part in their last international friendlies against the United States and Mexico.

Despite the wealth of talent in his squad, Dunga is expecting a rough ride to South Africa in 2010.

"Football has improved in most of the South American countries, so I think we'll have difficulties," he said.

The reigning Copa America champions will face Colombia on October 14 before facing Ecuador three days later.

Brazil squad: Doni (Roma), Cesar (Internazionale); Alves (Sevilla), Gilberto (Hertha Berlin), Kleber (Santos), Maicon (Internazionale), Juan (Roma), Alex (Chelsea), Lucio (Bayern Munich), Alex Silva (Sao Paulo); Mineiro (Hertha Berlin), Gilberto Silva (Arsenal), Fernando (Bordeaux), Josue (Wolfsburg), Elano (Manchester City), Diego (Werder Bremen), Ronaldinho (Barcelona), Baptista (Real Madrid), Kaka (Milan); Robinho (Real Madrid), Vagner Love (CSKA Moscow), Afonso (Heerenveen).
