Marsch said the club has put forth an admirable effort against Donovan before.


"Even last game I felt we dealt with him pretty well and he still walks away with a goal and two assists and they win 3-1," Marsch said. "It's little lapses you have to watch. For the most part our mentality has been good but it's the little lapses that kill us."


In the end, dealing with Donovan is "easier said than done. We can sit and talk about it all day. He's fast and clever and quick. He's good on the ball and good around the goal," Marsch said. "I'm going to give him hell like I always do."
