D.C. United, CSN announce broadcast changes

D.C. United and broadcasting partner Comcast SportsNet announced today plans to air United games Friday, October 5 against the Kansas City Wizards and Saturday, October 20 versus the Columbus Crew on the newly launched CSN+. Created in order that Comcast SportsNet can air live broadcasts featuring more of their extensive sports line-up, CSN+ is made available to all cable affiliates throughout the region that currently carry Comcast SportsNet.

The exact channel location will vary by cable provider, which is why Comcast SportsNet has launched an easy-to-access zip code finder on its website, www.comcastsportsnet.com. This website will ensure that all sports fans throughout the Mid-Atlantic can find CSN+ and their favorite sports teams with ease. The channel position for CSN+ will remain constant throughout the season and the channel will only be active when Comcast SportsNet's team partners play at the same time.

D.C. United is currently riding a League-best, 11-game unbeaten streak and stands atop the Major League Soccer standings, four points ahead of the New England Revolution in the Eastern Conference. After playing in Kansas City Friday, the Black-and-Red will play their two remaining League matches at RFK Stadium. Tickets to United's highly anticipated match-ups with the Chicago Fire (10/13) and the Crew are available via www.dcunited.com or by calling 202-587-5000.
