Episode Listing:

Monday, June 2: 1996 MLS Cup v. L.A. Galaxy (Oct. 20, 1996)
The MLS brass could not have hoped for a better finish to the League's inaugural season, as United overcame seemingly impossible odds to earn the first MLS Cup. A two-day downpour prior to the match dumped more than four inches of rain on the Boston area, while numerous roads were closed due to flooding. A waterlogged field did not hinder a well-played game, however, as the Galaxy came out and notched a fifth minute goal off the strength of Eduardo Hurtado's head. LA went up 2-0 when Chris Armas scored in the 56th, but the Black-and-Red finally got on the board when second-half sub Tony Sanneh scored in the 73rd. Another second-half sub, Shawn Medved scored the equalizer nine minutes later. The game went to overtime where Eddie Pope etched his name in D.C. United history by scoring a sudden-death 94th minute goal off a Marco Etcheverry corner kick, allowing United to hoist the very first MLS Cup.

Tuesday, June 3: 1997 MLS Cup v. Colorado Rapids (Oct. 26, 1997)
The biggest crowd ever to watch an MLS game at RFK Stadium, 57,431 fans were not disappointed as United earned a 2-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids in the MLS Cup. The team's second championship came on the strength of goals by Jaime Moreno in the 37th minute and Tony Sanneh in the 68th. Colorado's Adrian Paz kept the fans on the edge of their seats in the final minutes by scoring in the 75th minute, but D.C. held on to repeat as MLS champions.

Wednesday, June 4: live D.C. United vs. Houston @ RFK Stadium

Thursday, June 5: 1999 MLS Cup v. L.A. Galaxy (Nov. 21, 1999)
Two first half goals saw United earn their third MLS Cup championship, defeating the Galaxy at Foxboro Stadium 2-0. Jaime Moreno struck in the 19th minute off a pass from Roy Lassister, before Ben Olsen scored an uncontested goal in first half extra time.

Friday, June 6: 2004 MLS Cup v. Kansas City Wizards (Nov. 14, 2004)
United completed their 'Return to Glory' with a 3-2 victory over the Kansas City Wizards at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., as Alecko Eskandarian earned game MVP honors with two goals. After the Wizards took a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute, Eskandarian answered with goals in the 19th and 23rd minutes. A KC own goal in the 26th made the score 3-1 at halftime. Josh Wolff made the last half-hour interesting with a 58th minute penalty kick, but the Black-and-Red held on to earn the club's fourth MLS Cup championship.
