Washington, D.C. - D.C. United players are set to make a number of appearances in the upcoming week. Alecko Eskandarian and teammates will read to students at Smothers Elementary on Tuesday, while two other groups of players will be at Payne Elementary on both Thursday and Friday - all three appearances are part of the United Builds program.
On Wednesday, Bobby Boswell will serve as a guest referee for DC SCORES. Also on Wednesday, team President and CEO Kevin Payne will take part in the Anacostia Economic Summit, which will emphasize the importance of economic empowerment for those 'east of the river.'
