D.C. battle Pachuca in semifinal series

D.C. United announced the dates and times for the club's semifinal series in the 2008 CONCACAF Champions' Cup. The Black-and-Red will face Pachuca CF (Mexico) in Pachuca, Hildalgo, Mexico on April 1 and at RFK Stadium on April 9.


Kick-off for the first leg is set for 10:00 p.m. ET with the return match to be played at 7:30 p.m. ET. Both matches will be televised on Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Sports en Espanol.


The five-time Mexican First Division champion Pachuca qualified to the 2008 CONCACAF Champions' Cup after winning the 2007 Mexican Clausura tournament. They have won two CONCACAF crowns (2002 and 2007) in five appearances and a Copa Nissan Sudamericana in 2006.


Tickets for the April 9 encounter are available as a part of United season ticket plans and several promotional packages. Individual ticket prices range from $25 for the Spectator section, $35 at the Premium level, $45 at the VIP level, and $60 at the Mezzanine level.


D.C. United's 2008 MLS season begins March 29, when United travels to Kansas City to play the Wizards, and the home opener at RFK will be on April 5, against Toronto FC.
