D.C. United today announced the opportunity for members of their Coaches Association to participate in a one-of-a-kind coaching symposium at Clube Atlético Mineiro's state-of the-art facility in Galo City, Brazil. For 10 days, members will attend lectures and seminars highlighting the history of football in Brazil, tactical evolution, sports medicine and physical training and psychology of exercise, as well as game analysis and talent identification methods. Clube Atlético Mineiro is running the inaugural International Football Coaching Course at its official training center from April 10-20, 2008.

The program costs $1,650, but D.C. United Coaches Association members will receive a discounted price of $1,500. Members are also eligible for an additional, early signing discount ($1350) through March 10, 2008. The price includes a 40-hour course, airport pick-up and drop-off in Brazil, 10 days accommodation, four meals per day and a ticket to a professional game. Airfare is not included.
