COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Crew announced that it has switched the game-time for its Sept. 9 home game vs. the Chicago Fire from 7:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. (ET). The game-time switch will allow Crew Stadium to remain open and host a viewing party for the Ohio State-Texas college football game that kicks off at 8 p.m.
Ohio State is ranked No. 1 in both the preseason USA Today and Associated Press polls, while Texas is ranked No. 2 by USA Today and No. 3 by Associated Press. The game is a nationally televised game on ABC and will be shown on the Crew Stadium video board.
Former Ohio State football players will be in attendance and will sign autographs prior to the Crew game on The Crew Kicker Plaza.
