Comcast SportsNet to carry Chicago Fire grand opening match live from Toyota Park in Bridgeview on Sunday, June 25

Chicago, IL - Comcast SportsNet, the local television home of Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire, will provide the most comprehensive coverage of the Fire's official home opener vs. the New York Red Bulls on Sunday, June 25 with the addition of McDonald's Fire Pre-Game Live beginning at 5:30 p.m. CT, followed by kick-off at 6:00 p.m. and McDonald's Fire Post Game Live immediately following the game. Comcast SportsNet's live coverage of this match will be the general public's first official Fire game viewing at new TOYOTA PARK in Bridgeview, IL.


Comcast SportsNet's grand opening night Fire coverage begins with McDonald's Fire Pre-Game Live at 5:30 p.m. hosted by Josh Mora and Chicago soccer legend/current head coach of the MISL's Chicago Storm Frank Klopas. The half-hour pre-game special will take place live from TOYOTA PARK , which will include a live one-on-one interview with Fire President/CEO John Guppy, interviews with Fire players, an in-depth tour of new TOYOTA PARK , a review/remaining preview of this year's Fire season, plus, coverage of additional pre-game festivities from the new stadium.


Kick-off is set for 6:00 PM featuring Comcast SportsNet's Fire announcing team of play-by-play announcer Kenn Tomasch, analyst Kenny Stern and sideline reporter Chris Doran. Doran will also conduct interviews with Fire personnel and players for the pre and post game shows. Immediately following the game, Fire fans can look forward to McDonald's Fire Post Game Live featuring a game breakdown featuring Mora and Klopas, along with post game interviews with Fire players and head coach Dave Sarachan.
