Colorado Rapids to train in Houston

HOUSTON, TX - The Colorado Rapids will hold one training session in Houston prior to their 2006 MLS Western Conference Championship game against the Houston Dynamo, it was announced today.


The Rapids will train at Rice University's Track and Soccer Stadium, located near to the corner of University and Main St. on Saturday, November 4. The team's training session will run from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

On Sunday, November 5, both teams will play for the Western Conference title and the right to play for the 2006 MLS Cup. This contest, which will be played against the winner of the New England Revolution-D.C. United series, is scheduled for Sunday, November 12, in Frisco, TX.
