Which country has been your favorite place to travel to and why?

South Africa - The culture and beauty of the country is amazing. They have everything from beautiful beaches to an awesome wine country and game reserves.

What is your favorite memory on the road with your teammates?
I have many great memories, but my favorite was either my trips to Chile or to China and Japan. Traveling through Asia experiencing the culture and country, as well as Alexi Lalas playing guitar in the back of the bus is something I will never forget.

What makes Kansas City Wizards fans the best in the nation?
Their desire to be a part of soccer in America. But what I like best are the unique names and songs they have for the players and the team.

What is currently on your iPod?
Pearl Jam, Ben Harper, My Chemical Romance, A.F.I., Keith Urban, Angels and Airwaves, Rachel Yamagata, Diana Krall, Dire Straits, Michael Buble, and Matchbook Romance...is that enough?

If you weren't playing professional soccer, what sport would you be playing and why?
Basketball, because I like the speed of the game. I also like fitness and the style of the game.

Most people don't know this about but...
I am an artistic person.

My ultimate goal in life is...
Conquering the world...Also, having a beautiful family and sharing lots of time and love with my wife and hopefully kids one day. On a career base, I want to challenge myself mentally just like I have challenged myself physically. I want to take the knowledge I have and turn it into a business career. I also want to get my MBA.

What do you expect the team to accomplish in 2007?
I expect to make the playoffs, but I also want to make the experience of watching games in Kansas City exciting for fans. We are a team that can go far, but the first step is getting into the playoffs.

What food is your guilty pleasure?
Ribs and ice cream.

What was your best soccer moment?
The 2000 Olympics in Sydney. Scoring the game-winning penalty kick that sent the U.S. team to the semi-finals in Sydney was a great moment.
