Chivas USA to make dreams come true during International Children's Day celebration at Disneyland Resort

WHO:
Chivas USA's entire team (including Mexico World Cup defender Claudio Suárez, leading goalscorer Ante Razov, Honduran national team captain Amado Guevara and MLS Rookie of the Year Jonathan Bornstein), coaching staff (including head coach Preki and assistants Martín Vásquez, Zoran Savic and Zak Abdel), local youth soccer players and Disney Characters. (Interviews will be available following the cavalcade).

WHAT: In celebration of the Year of a Million Dreams, the Disneyland Resort will help make another dream come true by bringing together young soccer enthusiasts with Southern California's own "dream team"- Chivas USA!


On the morning of April 30, the forecourt of Sleeping Beauty Castle will be dressed out for this special occasion. A large lawn of green AstroTurf, arranged in the two-dimensional shape of Mickey Mouse, creates an instant "soccer field." Opposing soccer goals rise from each of the "ears." Chivas USA's star-studded team will perform drills and teach the children soccer skills during a fun-filled, high-energy event, complete with cheerleaders, that will include a ceremony and cavalcade.


WHERE: Forecourt of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort, 1313 Harbor Blvd., Anaheim, CA 92803. Parking at Downtown Disney is free for three hours.
