Chivas USA 4, RSL 0 -- quote sheet

CHIVAS USA 4, REAL SALT LAKE 0

CHIVAS USA HEAD COACH PREKI

On the game:
"I think at moments we played some good soccer. Obviously it's always good when you score four goals. And we didn't concede goals and that's what I want, I don't want to give up too many goals. Overall, I think we can play even better."

On Ante Razov's 100th goal:
"It's a great achievement. Scoring 100 goals is not easy. He has worked hard in his career and he deserves that."

CHIVAS FORWARD ANTE RAZOV

On his 100th goal:
"I feel good, but the most important thing is that we won tonight. We played pretty well. I'm excited for my family and me, because we celebrate this together. I'm also happy, because the owner, Antonio Cue as well as the fans recognized me, and that makes me feel like I'm part of this Chivas family."

On the next step in his career:
"I'm glad this is behind now and is time to concentrate in the season. There are some tough games coming up, especially the one against Galaxy."

CHIVAS FORWARD MAYKEL GALINDO

On his first two goals in MLS:
"I feel happy. I had been searching for it, I was working really hard because I knew that I needed that first goal in order to take off the pressure and thank God, those goals helped to begin the team's victory."

On his mentality:
"Since the game began I told myself: when the opportunity comes, I have to finish it and thank God, I made both goals."

REAL SALT LAKE HEAD COACH JOHN ELLINGER

On the most disappointing part of the game:
"We've played well up to this point. Then [to give up a goal] in just the first 30 seconds of the game and [then] giving up another one in eight minutes... Things we covered, like dealing with their high pressure, just didn't get done."

REAL SALT LAKE GOALKEEPER NICK RIMANDO

On the game:
"We felt good, two ties, we were looking for our first win and it didn't end up that way. In the first 10 minutes we lost the game. We rallied back and tried to press forward but they got two more."

On Ellinger's halftime words:
"Nothing in particular, we just need to get back in the game."

REAL SALT LAKE MIDFIELDER FREDDY ADU

On the game:
"The team was riding on a high because we just beat Kansas City in the Open Cup 2-1 at home and we played well in doing that. Obviously we did not show up today and we got taken advantage of right from the beginning, 30 seconds into the game they scored a goal and that was it."

On Ellinger's words during halftime:
"Coach told us we're a good team but sometimes we go out there and don't show it. Coach was pretty frustrated in the way we were playing, especially giving up an early goal like that and we just never recovered from that. We played better the second half but it was too late."
