CHIVAS USA 2, FC DALLAS 0

CHIVAS USA HEAD COACH PREKI

On his team's performance:
"The whole group really played hard. The mentality of the group was good. I'm very happy for the way we approached the game; we made it tough on them. It was a hard-played game, one of the toughest we have played this season. My team showed very good character tonight."

On Maykel Galindo:
"Even without his goal, I think he worked very hard tonight. He went back, made the plays, and he fought for his goal. He pressed the defenders, he won the ball and had a good shot. We need to give him all the credit tonight."

CHIVAS USA FORWARD ANTE RAZOV

On the game:
"We are on a three-game unbeaten streak. It was a good win against a tough team in a tough game. We came out in the second half and played better. We are pleased with the way we played tonight. Not satisfied necessarily, but it's a step in the right direction."

On his goal:
"They were pushed up and Paulo [Nagamura] cleared the ball. I knew that [Dario] Sala was out and did not know if we were going to collide, but he paused for a second and I was able to shoot over him and it went in."

CHIVAS USA FORWARD MAYKEL GALINDO

On his goal:
"It was a play where I collided with two defenders and instead of staying on the ground, expecting a call from the referee, I kept playing. I had confidence on myself, took a shot and thank God, I got the goal."

On being the number three goal-scorer in MLS with 5 goals so far:
"That's very important, but I feel better about our win. If I feel happy right now, it's not because of my goal; it's about the three points we got tonight."

FC DALLAS HEAD COACH STEVE MORROW

On the absence of Carlos Ruiz:
"We won the last three games and played well. We created a lot of chances; two of those games were without Carlos Ruiz. I don't think that was a factor today."

FC DALLAS DEFENDER CHRIS GBANDI

On the result:
"We gave up two bad goals but we didn't really create too many chances. They [Chivas USA] had a lot of chances that they created. As bad as we played, we were still in that game for the most part and I think games like that, even if it's a 0-0 tie, we've just got to take it. ... We won three in a row and lost one, we just have to regroup."
