CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, August 23, 2007) - Chivas USA sponsor Chivas Regal will present the 2007 Chivas Regal Heroes Cup from Aug. 23-25 at the Bell Gardens Sports Center in the city of Bell Gardens, California, and on Aug. 26 at The Home Depot Center. The four-day soccer tournament, hosted by Chivas USA, will showcase twelve law enforcement teams from New York City to San Diego, with the winning team being recognized at halftime of the Chivas USA vs. Real Salt Lake game on Sunday Aug. 26 at 6:00 p.m. PT at The Home Depot Center.
The event marks the second year of the tournament, created by Chivas USA to continue their commitment to forging meaningful relationships with the community and with local and national law enforcement agencies. The Heroes Cup tournament represents Chivas USA's partnership with law enforcement in recognition of their dedication to our communities and their achievements on the soccer field. This is the first year in which Chivas Regal will sponsor the event.
