Chicago Fire present FC Barcelona-Club Deportivo Guadalajara

Chicago Fire Soccer is proud to announce it will present the Chicago visit by FC Barcelona on their "On Tour '08" as the Spanish club plays Mexico's Club Deportivo Guadalajara on Sunday, August 3. Kickoff for the game at Soldier Field is 6:00 p.m. CDT.

The Spanish giant, whose honors include 18 La Liga trophies, a record-setting 24 Copa del Rey championships and two UEFA Champions League titles, will play two matches during the 2008 trip - the other against the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday, Aug. 6 at Giants Stadium.


"Chivas" de Guadalajara, first place season finisher in the Clausura 2008 - the Mexican League's winter season - are led by Mexican National Team stars Ramon Morales, Johnny Magallon, Luis Ernesto Michel and Alberto Medina.


There will be a special pre-sale for Chicago Fire season ticket holders, as well as a discounted two-game package, beginning Monday, June 2. Tickets for the general public go on sale Sunday, June 8.
