Canadian Championship Continues

John Carver and TFC hope to be the last Canadian team standing in the Nutrilite Championship.

Action resumes in the Nutrilite Canadian Championship tonight (Tuesday) as Montreal Impact face Vancouver Whitecaps at Stade Saputo.

The two teams from the United Soccer League are battling with Toronto FC in a three team round robin tournament to become Canada's representative in the CONCACAF Champions League.

Toronto FC won the opening game of the inaugural Canadian Championship 1-0 in Montreal last month. Marco Velez scored the winning goal in the second half. The Whitecaps (7-3-1) lead the USL and have played the Impact (3-6-2) twice already this season. The teams met on Victoria Day in the first ever game at Montreal's new stadium. The game ended in a goalless draw. Earlier in the season Vancouver beat the Impact 1-0 at Swangard Stadium.

Tickets are available for Toronto FC's home games in the tournament. The Reds take on Vancouver at BMO Field on July 1st, and Montreal on July 22nd. For ticket details, click here.
