COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Crew announced today that Brewsky's Sports Bar will serve as the "Official Away Game Headquarters" for all Columbus Crew road games in 2008. Brewsky's Sports Bar is located on 4510 Kenny Road just south of Henderson Road.
"The Crew has a very loyal and passionate fan base and we are excited about becoming the new 'Official Away Game Headquarters,'" said owner Greg King. "Our venue and atmosphere will be perfect for the great fans of the Black & Gold."
The first game in the new relationship between the Crew and Brewsky's Sports Bar is this Saturday, April 5, when the Crew takes on the New York Red Bulls at Giants Stadium, and Brewsky's will have all the action starting at 7:30 p.m. ET. Starting Saturday and continuing throughout the 2008 season, Brewsky's Sports Bar will feature each Crew away game on numerous televisions throughout the bar, and will also air live audio from the telecast. Fans in attendance will also have the opportunity to win prizes and merchandise, courtesy of the Crew and away game viewing party partner, Budweiser.
