Staying dry at RFK
United fans have been tested by their share of foul weather this season as the team's last two home games took place in heavy rain. Although full-size umbrellas are forbidden, RFK Stadium policy allows compact umbrellas without a metal top. Stadium management does ask that patrons be respectful of their fellow fans, being mindful not to block their views, and remind all to follow ushers' orders should they ask anyone to close an umbrella. D.C. United recommend the most dependable way to stay dry: a poncho.

DCU alumni update
As captain, former United defender Ryan Nelsen led Blackburn on a strong run into the semifinals of the FA Cup, where the team lost 2-1 in extra time to Chelsea in a thrilling match at Old Trafford.

After helping his Football League team earn a promotion, left-winger Bobby Convey and English Premiership stars Reading have enjoyed considerable and surprising success in England's highest league. After a strong start, Convey has been out for most of the season following a training ground injury and subsequent surgeries but has watched his club stunn onlookers with a breakout season that included draws against powerhouses Chelsea and Manchester United. He was a vital part of the U.S. national team at last summer's World Cup in Germany and hopes to return in full form with Reading next season.

Although Argentinean club Nueva Chicago has struggled since its promotion to the Primera Division, striker Lucio Filomeno has been one of the team's most notable players since his return to the team with which he started his career.

Midfielder Matias Donnet also returned to Argentina to play for another newly-promoted Primera Division team, Belgrano de Cordoba.
