FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas defender Alex Yi today underwent a diagnostic ultrasound which revealed a Grade-2 tear of his left hamstring. The 25-year old sustained the injury in the 70th minute of Wednesday's game versus Mexican-partner club Tigres UANL at Pizza Hut Park, which Tigres won 1-0. Yi, who has started 13 of the 17 regular season games this year at center back, is expected to be out of action from 4-6 weeks.
FC Dallas returns to league action on Saturday, July 14 when they visit D.C. United at RFK Stadium (6:30 pm CT, live on FSN-SW).
