Agent: No chance of Adriano leaving Inter

SAO PAULO - Adriano's agent Gilmar Rinaldi has ruled out any chance of the Internazionale striker moving to giants Sao Paulo next year.

The Brazilian giants announced their intention to sign the national team forward to play in the 2008 Copa Libertadores.

Sao Paulo offered their physiotherapy and physiology sporting recovery centre (Reffis) to help Adriano recover his form and, in exchange, will ask the Italians whether they can have the 25-year-old on loan for six months.

Sao Paulo official Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes said: "The club have always helped players who come from foreign leagues, especially the ones who play in the national team.

"Sao Paulo will take him, but only if there is a chance for him to continue playing here for a period of next season."

However, on Sunday morning, Rinaldi insisted that this would not happen, telling reporters: "No chance. The possibility of Adriano playing at Sao Paulo or an eventual return to Flamengo has been never considered.

"He must be in Milan on January 1."
