Real Salt Lake midfielder Freddy Adu and FC Dallas striker Kenny Cooper have recorded a public service announcement for the Cartoon Network's "GET ANIMATED" program designed to promote healthy lifestyles. The pair appears with two characters from the Cartoon Network's original action-adventure series "Ben 10," encouraging kids to stay active and healthy and reminding them that soccer is a great way to do so.

The PSA was slotted into the Cartoon Network's ad rotation on April 6 and can be seen between seven and 21 times per week on the air. The spot can also be seen on CartoonNetwork.com and a Spanish version is available at CartoonNetworkYA.com.

Filmed the day after the 2006 MLS Cup Final at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas, the PSA features two of Major League Soccer's most exciting players. Adu made worldwide headlines when he signed a professional contract at age 14 to join D.C. United. Now 17, Adu was traded to Real Salt Lake prior to the 2007 season. In all, the Ghana native has made 88 MLS appearances, scoring 11 goals and adding 17 assists.

Cooper has gotten off to a quick start this year, having found the net in each of the Hoops' first two matches. A year ago the Dallas native scored 11 goals and added four assists after coming back to join his local team following a stint with the Manchester United reserves.
