Three Dynamo Academy players will represent United States National Teams in competitions January 20-27 in Guadalajara. Alex Dixon, Fernando Pina and Brian Celis will wear Red, White and Blue in the wake of their continued excellence in Orange.
Dixon, named to the U-20 U.S. team, will be playing in Copa Chivas. Dixon was previously in the U-17 residency program before joining the Dynamo Academy. A senior at Tomball HS, Dixon plays club soccer for Texans FC and has signed a letter of intent to North Carolina. He is on the protected home grown player list and is an extremely exciting player.
Pina and Celis will play in U-14 games against Mexican teams on behalf of the United States. Pina is a goalkeeper and plays with the U-15 Dynamo. Fernando attends Dowling Middle School and plays club soccer for Texas Premier. Celis is a defender on the U-15 Dynamo, attends McDonald Jr.High and plays club soccer for Texas Premier.
