The Chicago Fire is proud to officially launch the 10th Anniversary Celebration section of Chicago-Fire.com. The section will offer fans the opportunity to submit nominations for the Fire's Top 5 "Diehard" Fans, learn more about Chicago Fire history, recount favorite moments on the field and in the stands, and vote for the Fire All-Decade Best XI (as well as All-Decade Best Goals and Best Games in the upcoming months) as part of the Fire All-Decade Sweepstakes.
Fans who participate in voting for the All-Decade Best XI team will be entered into a sweepstakes to win one of three prizes:
• First Prize will receive two (2) tickets to the 2008 MLS Championship Game in Los Angeles, as well as two (2) tickets to the Commissioner's Ball, two (2) roundtrip standard coach airline tickets, one (1) night's accommodation in standard double occupancy room at the MLS chosen hotel and one (1) team autographed jersey.
• Second Prize will receive two tickets to the 10-Year Reunion Banquet to be held in the fall and a $50 Chicago Fire gift card.
• Third Prize will receive a Chicago Fire team autographed jersey.
In the Top 5 "Die-hard" Fans section, fans will have the opportunity to submit photos and stories demonstrating why they are the ultimate Fire fan. The top five fans will be recognized on-field at the Fire's Oct. 12 match at TOYOTA PARK against the Columbus Crew, as well as have their picture and story featured on Chicago-fire.com for the remainder of the season.
A forum has also been created to submit your favorite Fire moments (either team-related or personal memories), which will be compiled into a memory book to be displayed at the 10th Anniversary Reunion Banquet.
