FC Dallas Midfielder Ronnie O'Brien scored a goal for the ages in the team's 3-1 victory over Chivas USA at The Home Depot Center on Apr. 16. O'Brien controlled the ball from 35 yards out and when it looked like he was going to make a crossing pass, he ripped a shot that curled just inside the upper left hand corner and into the back of the net. It was O'Brien first goal of the year.
The Sierra Mist Goal of the Week is voted on by fans at www.mlsnet.com. O'Brien's goal won in a landslide as he received 69 percent of the votes. Brian Dunseth of Real Salt Lake was the runner-up with 18 percent of the voting going his way.
