Robinson and Ronér go to the movies

Chris Roner, Eddie Robinson and "Q" took in a movie with fans last Tuesday.

During the 2004 season, Earthquakes players Eddie Robinson and Chris Ronér have kept busy as vital members of the Quakes team.

While the duo has not been able to contribute on the soccer field as they recover from serious injuries, the two defenders have spent their time giving back to the San Jose community.

On Tuesday, August 3, Robinson and Ronér both attended a free screening of an Earthquakes highlight video at Metropolis Theaters at Oakridge Mall in San Jose. The two soccer stars helped kick off a viewing of the Earthquakes Highlight Video in High Definition at the theater.

The 12-minute video featured top plays, games, and moments of the first half of the Quakes 2004 season. Following the screening, Robinson and Ronér hosted a question and answer session and signed autographs for the fans present at the event. Earthquakes mascot "Q" also made an appearance at the Oakridge Mall. "Q" walked around the mall to engage more fans in the event and completed the afternoon by signing autographs.
