Revolution sign Dorman

Foxborough, Mass.- The New England Revolution today announced the signing of midfielder Andy Dorman as a Developmental Player and Transitional International. Dorman, 21, is a native of Flintshire, Wales, and played intercollegiate soccer at Boston University. Per team and MLS policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.


A four-year starter at Boston University, Dorman was named to the America East All-Conference First Team the past three seasons. Dorman was also named to the conference All-Rookie team his freshman year. This past college season, Dorman was fourth in the nation and first in America East in assists, averaging 0.71 assists per game. While playing at BU, Dorman started 66 of the 70 matches he appeared in, scoring 22 goals and tallying 37 assists. Dorman has also appeared as a youth international for Wales, appearing for his country's Under-18 team.
