Rapids sign forward Noel

The Colorado Rapids announced today the signing of Haitian forward Fabrice Nöel to the team's 28-man roster. The former Haitian youth international will occupy one of the team's 10 Developmental Roster Spots.

The 19-year old striker, who scored 130 goals playing high school soccer for Palm Beach Lakes High School in Florida (2002-2004), started his playing career in Haiti playing for Racing Club Haitien.

His international career with the Haitian Under-20 and Under-15 National Teams includes participation in Youth World Cup Qualifiers (2002), as well as stints in some of the most prestigious tournaments for that age bracket around the world, such as the Dana Cup in Denmark.

Nöel is currently in camp with the Rapids and will be available to play for the Black and Blue this weekend in either of the two Rapids games: Saturday, June 25th against FC Dallas at 7:00 p.m. at INVESCO Field at Mile High, or the Rapids Reserve match on Sunday, June 26th at 10:00 a.m. (MT) vs. the FC Dallas reserves at the team's training facility in Westminster, CO.
