Quakes attend Northern California Special Olympics Soccer Tournament

On Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th the Earthquakes were in Dalay City for the Northern California Special Olympics Soccer Tournament.


In conjunction with Daly City AYSO and the Daly City Park and Recreation Department, Earthquakes players gathered at Gellert Park for the festivities.


Over 200 kids from the Northen California Special Olympics chapter participated in the tournament, as six fields overflowed with five-on-five games from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both days.

On Sunday, Earthquakes goalkeeper Robby Fulton, midfielder Orlando Ramirez, midfielder Chris Wondowoloski, midfielder Danny O'Rourke and forward Julian Nash came out to help support the teams and keep score of the games.


Following the morning games the Quakes players signed autographs and took pictures with the participants. Their day finished after helping a few of the teams warm up for their afternoon games.
