Pizza Hut Park Interim General Manager John Alper announced today that all remaining MLS CUP 2005 tickets will be made available to the general public on Saturday, October 15 at 8 a.m. (CDT), through all Ticketmaster locations and the league's website. This will be the first public chance for soccer fans to get their hands on tickets to Major League Soccer's premier event, MLS Cup.

"The league's championship game - MLS Cup 2005 - caps off a tremendous year for Pizza Hut Park, Hunt Sports Group and sports fans across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex," Alper said. "With a month remaining until the Final, fans need to make sure they don't miss out on one of the biggest sporting events of the year in the state of Texas."

The tenth incarnation of MLS Cup will be played on Sunday, November 13 at 2:30 p.m. at the brand new Pizza Hut Park in the northern Dallas suburb of Frisco, Texas. Pizza Hut Park is the spectacular 20,372-seat soccer specific stadium which opened on August 6, 2005 and is home to FC Dallas, a charter member club of Major League Soccer. The previous nine MLS Cups have attracted nearly 365,000 fans (an average of 40,493 per game) to see MLS' season-ending championship and the awarding of the Alan I. Rothenberg Trophy.

Tickets had previously been allotted to season ticket holders of FC Dallas as well as through a Random Computerized Drawing. The latter, conducted on a worldwide basis over the Internet, concluded on October 3 with ticket orders coming in from 39 different states plus the District of Columbia, four foreign countries (England, Germany, Mexico and Nigeria) and a member of our United States Pacific Armed Forces. Corporate ticket packages and youth team allocations are also available and will continue to be so along with the public sale.
