SECAUCUS, N.J. - The MetroStars will host the semifinals and finals to the High School Summer Shoot-Out, sponsored by The Soccer Coliseum at Teaneck Armory. The semifinals and finals will take place at Giants Stadium on Aug. 14 and will begin at 8 p.m. ET, following the conclusion of the MetroStars vs. Columbus Crew match. This match features local stars such as Eddie Gaven, Jason Hernandez, and Michael Bradley from the MetroStars, along with Danny Szetela, Edson Buddle, John Wolyniec, Knox Cameron and Kyle Martino from the Columbus Crew.
The preliminary round will be held on July 12 at 6 p.m. ET and July 17 at 4 p.m. ET at the Soccer Coliseum at Teaneck Armory. Each team will play three 5v5 short-sided games. There are both boys and girls brackets in the tournament in which 1st and 2nd place awards will be given.
