now winless after three games for the first time in his MLS career -- brought on Eddie Gaven as a 70th-minute substitute for Galvan Rey but to little effect. The MetroStars were forced to play long and seek opportunities on the counter attack to avoid the tenacious Chicago midfield, but they could not garner any serious scoring chances.


The MetroStars will play their first game away from Giants Stadium this season next weekend when they travel to Denver to take on the Colorado Rapids at INVESCO Field at Mile High on April 30 at 9 p.m. ET.
