MetroStars announce exclusive ticket purchase window for Chelsea FC vs. AC Milan match at Giants Stadium

SECAUCUS, N.J. - The MetroStars announced today that MetroStars full or half season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the July 31 Chelsea F.C.-A.C. Milan match at Giants Stadium in a private window starting Tuesday, June 21 at 10:00 a.m. and ending on Friday, June 24 at 5:00 p.m. Tickets will not be available to the general public during this window.


A.C. Milan and Chelsea F.C. will travel to the United States to play in the 2005 World Series of Football in late July. In the World Series of Football tour, there will be four matches played. Chelsea F.C. and A.C. Milan will play each other twice on July 24 and July 31. A.C. Milan will play three-time Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup champion Chicago Fire on Wednesday, July 27 and Chelsea F.C. will face reigning MLS Cup Champion D.C. United on Thursday, July 28. The 2005 World Series of Football culminates on July 31 when Chelsea F.C. battles A.C. Milan at Giants Stadium. Please note that the kickoff time of the July 31 match will be determined at a later date.


Fans purchasing the MetroStars special "World Series of Football Pick 'Em Pack" will also be able to buy tickets during this exclusive window from June 21 until June 24. The World Series of Football Pick 'Em Pack includes one ticket to the Chelsea F.C.-A.C. Milan match as well as one Platinum level ticket to a remaining MetroStars home game of your choice.
