The San Jose Earthquakes shared the points for the third consecutive match though their winless streak extended to six games, battling to a scoreless draw at home with the Kansas City Wizards last Saturday. The Quakes still managed to maintain their grip on fourth place in the Western Conference with 37 points from 29 matches, two ahead of the Dallas Burn - and with third place still a possibility, three behind the Colorado Rapids.
