Monday morning I had the pleasure of appearing on Fox's Good Day New York with Penny Crone, Chris Gailus and Jodi Applegate.
At one point during the segment the viewers were treated to a close-up of my foot and sock. To my eternal shame, there was a hole in my sock that could not be ignored. Since, on numerous occasions, I've stressed the importance of proper attire while representing our organization, I recognize the hypocrisy of appearing on television in such a manner.
Therefore I want to apologize for my offensive hosiery and assure our fans that this will never happen again. I have received numerous complaints over the past 24 hours and this has caused me to reexamine my commitment to proper sock maintenance. I hope that I can be forgiven for what I feel was an isolated incident.
