L.A. Galaxy presents youth soccer clinic for more than 200 in San Bernardino on Thursday, December 9

Carson, CA - The Los Angeles Galaxy and the San Bernardino Soccer Complex are joining forces to present a free soccer clinic to youths in that area on Thursday, December 9, the club announced today.

"We are delighted to bring a free soccer clinic to the youth of San Bernardino," said Galaxy President and General Manager Doug Hamilton. "It is a community that has always supported the Galaxy and this is just one small way of saying thank you."

The clinic will be led by L.A. Galaxy Director of Youth Development and identification Ralph Perez and is expected to feature the participation of between 150-200 children. Galaxy Ambassador Mauricio Cienfuegos is scheduled to assist Perez with the event, the first time the Galaxy has hosted one of this magnitude in San Bernardino.

The San Bernardino youth players participating in the clinic, all of whom are members of the Young Champions, will have the opportunity to work on several specialized skills. They will include: ball handling, shooting and passing.

The San Bernardino Soccer Complex is a premiere 17-field full-service tournament facility owned and operated by the City of San Bernardino that serves major soccer tournaments and league play among other sports.
