New York, NY - Soccer United Marketing (SUM) announced today that tickets for InterLiga(tm) 2005 at the Cotton Bowl will be available beginning Monday, December 13 at noon. The Cotton Bowl will host a doubleheader on Sunday, January 9, that will feature America vs. Necaxa at 4 p.m. and Toluca vs. Jaguares at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for the doubleheader on Sunday, January 9 are available by calling the FC Dallas ticket office at (214) 979-0303 or contacting Ticketmaster. Tickets may be purchased at Ticketmaster by logging on to www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at (214) 373-8000. Tickets can be purchased in advance starting as low as $20 for general admission tickets in goal view (limited number available), $25 for an adult sideline general admission and $30 for sideline reserve seats. Groups of 20 or more will also receive a $2 per ticket discount on select advance ticket prices by calling FC Dallas.
The eight-team InterLiga(tm) tournament is scheduled to kick off in Phoenix and Los Angeles on Sunday, January 2 with doubleheaders at Bank One Ballpark in Arizona and at The Home Depot Center (in Carson, California just outside of Los Angeles). The tournament moves to Spartan Stadium in San Jose on Wednesday, January 5 and to the Alamodome in San Antonio on Thursday, January 6. The second weekend of InterLiga(tm) then begins with a return to Carson and a doubleheader at The Home Depot Center on January 8 followed by a doubleheader at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas on Sunday, January 9. InterLiga(tm) then comes to a close in Houston's Reliant Stadium on Wednesday, January 12 with the final doubleheader which will determine the qualifiers to the Copa Libertadores.
