DALLAS, Texas - Soccer United Marketing (SUM) announced today that tickets for Interliga™ 2006 will go on sale on Thursday, December 15 at 10 a.m. This year's installment of Interliga™ will be the first to be played at Pizza Hut Park, and will see all eight participating clubs come to the Metroplex for the first time. There will be doubleheaders on both Saturday, January 7 and Sunday, January 8, giving fans a chance to see eight of the best teams that the Mexican Football League has to offer.
The matches at Pizza Hut Park will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 8 when Necaxa takes on Tigres. That match will be followed by an epic encounter between perennial favorite Chivas and Toluca, one of the finalists in this year's Apertura. The next day, Morelia will play Pachuca at 4 p.m. before the tournament's final game of the year at Pizza Hut Park between Veracruz and Monterrey, the other finalist and host in the Apertura final to be played this weekend.
All tickets are good for the entire day, meaning that each ticket purchased will give you the chance to see two great games for the price of one.
