the sense of being part of a family. That's been a very big reason of why it's been so easy to cope with the new environment."

Caballero and Guerrero are two of just a handful of Honduran players in MLS, with others playing for FC Dallas and the MetroStars. Though Caballero is happy to see Hondurans making it to the MLS, he does not think there are nearly enough playing in America.

"I see players from Honduras and I like that but we need even more! For me it would be very good," Caballero said. "We have good players in Honduras, but it is very difficult for them to get a chance to play professionally. You see players like [MetroStars midfielder] Amado Guevara and think that there could be more possibilities of other players coming to the U.S."

Guerrero noticed the need for Hispanic players in MLS, which led to his decision to become a member of the "Men in Red." He sees his entrance into the league as just the beginning for Hispanics to break into MLS.

"I did have options to go to other teams in MLS, but I found the Fire more attractive in the end, especially because it was a team that had been successful but that [it] was also lacking Hispanic players," Guerrero said. "I felt this would be a good thing for everyone."

Though both Guerrero and Caballero have made it to the starting eleven as defenders (and for Guerrero as a midfielder), they admit that their playing styles are very different. Caballero said he likes to rough up the competition while on the field, enjoying the "contact and fighting." Guerrero, on the other hand, prides himself on being versatile on the field.

"I try to do what the coach wants me to do," Guerrero said. "I do like playing my natural position at left wing. But I'll play the position that the coach thinks is best for the team."

The Hondurans are looking to help the Fire have a better finish than last year, and Guerrero believes that the next year will be a big one for the team.

"Every game has had its memorable moments," Guerrero said. "I would like to help my team win games and win two championships this year. I am also looking forward to seeing our new stadium. That's a very exciting thought."
