After the USA took a two-goal lead into half, the World Legends came back into the game with two late goals from Raul Diaz Arce and the Galaxy's own Mauricio Cienfuegos to cap the match. In all, six former Galaxy players took part: Campos, Cienfuegos, Carlos Hermosillo and Luis Hernandez all played for the World Legends while Paul Caligiuri and Alexi Lalas played for USA - alongside current midfielder Cobi Jones and Assistant Coach Martin Vasquez.
