Dallas, Texas - FC Dallas President and General Manager Greg Elliott announced today that FC Dallas and Kohl's will host the second annual "Kohl's Soccer Mom Clinic" on Sunday, November 21 at the Nathan Adams Soccer Fields (12600 Welch Road in Dallas) from 12 - 2 p.m.
"This will be a great opportunity for our organization to help educate even more people on the sport of soccer," said Elliott. "These women are the backbone to youth soccer as we join with Kohl's to thank the 'Soccer Moms' of North Texas.
"It should be a fun event for everybody involved."
The soccer clinic will be hosted by two FC Dallas players, David Wagenfuhr and Milton Reyes. Along with the two players will be two FC Dallas soccer camp coaches available to introduce the "Soccer Moms" to the game of soccer, its rules, skills and various techniques followed by an autograph session.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: Media are encouraged to cover this event as availability for the players will be anytime between 12 - 2 p.m. This will be a great photo opportunity for media wishing to cover.
75 "Soccer Moms" from various organizations will attend the clinic. Each Mom will receive a goodie bag that includes a BodySource® gift bag, Kohl's visors, Kohl's player cards, FC Dallas collectable bobble heads and Kohl's gift cards.
