The Colony, Texas - FC Dallas downed FC Texas U-19 at Blue Sky in The Colony by a 7-0 final on Friday morning in the first-ever meeting between youth club and parent club in Dallas. The teams played a full 90-minute match with the FC Dallas lineup listed below.

It only took Peter Louis four minutes to give FC Dallas the lead after taking a shot to the right side of the goalkeeper to open the score. FC Dallas kept creating chances but would not strike again until the 30th minute. Ty Maurin opened the ball to the left flank to Dave Wagenfhur, who centered a ball that Mario Torres headed over the goalkeeper to put FC Dallas up 2-0.
FC Dallas striker Alex Woods added two more goals before half time. His first goal came in the 38th minute as he made a nice move on a defender to then slam a shot that went past the goalkeeper from 16 yards out. He converted his second goal in the 44th minute when the goalkeeper could not hold on to a center by Wagenfuhr and that Woods simply pushed in for the 4-0 lead.
FC Dallas took control of the second half by maintaining possession of the ball. They struck early again as Lee Nguyen dribbled a defender on the right side of the box to leave himself one on one with the goalkeeper. Nguyen showed his skills by chipping the ball over the goalkeeper to increase the lead to 5-0.
In the 65th minute it was Nguyen again who made a nice run through two defenders before touching the ball to the right of the goalkeeper to find Woods who put the ball in the back of the net for the 6-0 lead.
The last goal came in the 73rd minute when Woods centered a ball from the right flank to the far post to connect with Freddy Garcia who one-timed a shot under the goalkeeper to make the final score 7-0.
