Earthquakes to host Game Two of Western Conference Semifinals on Oct. 29 at Spartan Stadium

SAN JOSE - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club will host Game Two of the Western Conference Semifinals on Saturday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m. PT at Spartan Stadium. With one game remaining in the MLS regular season, the Earthquakes have clinched first place in the Western Conference and will either face the Colorado Rapids or Los Angeles Galaxy in the MLS Cup Playoffs in a home-and-home aggregate goal Western Conference Semifinal series. Broadcast information for this match will be announced at a later date. Game One of the series will be either Saturday, October 22 or Sunday, October 23.


Season ticket holders should use their "Playoff Game A" ticket for this match. Ticket prices for the playoffs remain the same as regular season prices - $13, $16, $30 and $45. The Earthquakes (17-4-9, 61 pts.) clinched the 2005 Supporter's Shield for the best overall record in MLS last weekend and travel to Los Angeles to play the Galaxy in the final regular season game on Saturday, October 15 at 7:00 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast live from The Home Depot Center on Telemundo-48 and 1590 AM KLIV.
