KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Wizards and U.S. women's national team will take part in a soccer coubleheader at Arrowhead Stadium Saturday night. Mia Hamm, Brandi Chastain, Kristine Lilly and the rest of the Olympic gold-medal winning U.S. women's national team will take on Mexico at 5 p.m. CT and will be immediately followed by the Wizards regular season finale against Western Conference rivals the Los Angeles Galaxy at 7:30 p.m. CT.

Following the Women's game, the Wizards will host the Galaxy in a crucial Western Conference showdown with the #1 seed in the Western Conference and home field advantage throughout the playoffs on the line. The Wizards (13-9-7, 46 points) currently lead the Galaxy (11-8-10, 43 points) by three points in the standings and need a win, a tie or a loss by one goal against Los Angeles to capture the Western Conference regular season title.

Kansas City could also clinch the Supporters Shied, awarded to the team with the best record in MLS, with a win combined with a Columbus loss at Colorado. The Wizards 46 points are just two behind the Crew's 48 points. A Wizards win by two goals and a Columbus tie this weekend would also clinch the second Supporters Shield in Kansas City history, following the honor they received in 2000.
