Dominic Kinnear: "Right now, I think the team is clicking. We are playing well and have got some good results. Even in the Chicago game, in the second half, we controlled the play and had opportunities, so I was proud of the effort there. Right now, from the back to the front we have a lot of players who are working hard and playing well together, that is the key for us. Landon [Donovan] and Brian [Ching] are playing well up top and getting good support from the midfield like Richard [Mulrooney] and Brian [Mullan], so I think we are attacking the way we want to."
Speaking of Brian Ching, he made his World Cup Qualifying debut on Wednesday and scored the game-tying goal with a minute remaining. Can you comment on his play for the United States national team?
DK: "For him to do what he is doing right now, especially with all he has been through, is just incredible. I am so proud of him, and how hard he has worked. Everything he is getting right now is so well deserved. All the credit has to go to him, for how hard he has worked and for his dedication and determination in fighting to get back. It has been a great ride for him. After the game on Wednesday, I called him and left him a message and just told him how happy I was for him. We are all happy for him."
Can you give us a scouting report on the Dallas Burn?
DK: "The Burn are having a good season, and of course they are directly ahead of us in the standings, so this is a huge game for us. Eddie Johnson is a dangerous forward who we have to watch, and it looks like Jason Kreis is back to his goal-dangerous form. These are the type of games that we are going to have to win if we are going to advance in the conference and make the playoffs. We have been playing well lately, and we need to continue that against Dallas and play with the same confidence and attitude that we had last weekend in Kansas City."
