Dallas defender Milton Reyes fined by MLS Disciplinary Committee

NEW YORK - Major League Soccer's Disciplinary Committee announced Friday that Dallas Burn defender Milton Reyes has been fined $500 for a reckless foul in the Burn's 2-0 loss to the Los Angeles Galaxy on Oct. 9.


Reyes was issued a yellow card for a challenge on Galaxy midfielder Marcelo Saragosa in the 32nd minute of the game. The sanction was imposed as a result of the Committee having previously warned Reyes of a play stemming from a similarly reckless tackle he committed on July 10 against the Columbus Crew.


The 2004 MLS regular season concludes this weekend with all five games each carrying playoff implications. Up for grabs are the final MLS Cup Playoff spot for each Conference along with final seeds, the MLS Supporter's Shield winner, and the MLS Budweiser Scoring Champion:
