Galaxy fans, be sure to tune in to KMEX Channel 34 (Univision) this Saturday at 10 am to catch a special appearance by former player and Galaxy Ambassador Mauricio Cienfuegos on Accion Deportiva. Cienfuegos will preview his farewell match, to be played June 5 at The Home Depot Center at 5 pm, prior to the club's regular season match against the Kansas City Wizards (7:30 pm).
The farewell match for Cienfuegos will pit a team of all-stars from El Salvador against the biggest gathering of former Galaxy players since the team's inception in 1996 (including Greg Vanney, Martin Machon and Carlos Hermosillo), with Cienfuegos playing one half for each team. It's going to be a doubleheader of soccer you won't want to miss! He will give viewers more on what to expect on his special day as well.
