California native and current Orange County resident, Danny Califf joined the Galaxy in 2000 when the Galaxy selected him with their first round pick in the MLS SuperDraft.
Since joining the Galaxy, Danny Califf has strived to touch the lives of youth through soccer and has served as an excellent role model for kids in the Southern California community. Through his support of the Califf's Corner program, Danny Califf will be furthering his role in the community by making a positive impact in the lives of children at Galaxy games, soccer clinics, and special appearances.
The Los Angeles Galaxy's Califf's Corner offers corporations and individuals the opportunity to donate Galaxy game tickets through the Galaxy Foundation to local non-profit and community organizations that benefit disadvantaged children in the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas. The Galaxy Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization; so all donations are 100% tax deductible.
The Los Angeles Galaxy's Califf's Corner is a community program in support of the Galaxy Foundation's mission to help children through the Kicks for Kids program (link to Kicks For Kids page). The Califf's Corner project was developed and is supported by Danny Califf, Los Angeles Galaxy and U.S. National Team defender, the Galaxy Foundation, and the Galaxy front office.
