Chivas USA President and Co-Owner Antonio Cué will make good on his bet with counterpart Doug Hamilton, President of the Los Angeles Galaxy, by washing Hamilton's car. The scrubbing will take place at the fountain in front of The Home Depot Center, starting at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31. In addition, Cué will contribute $1000 to the Galaxy's charitable foundation.
"This is not the first time - nor is it the last time - that I wash a car. However, it will be the last time I wash a Galaxy car. My only hope is that they accept my bet for our next match," said Cué.
Chivas USA fans who come to help Cué wash the Galaxy's cars will receive tickets for Chivas USA's midweek showdown against the Kansas City Wizards, set for this Wednesday, June 1, at 7:30 p.m. at The Home Depot Center.
